ABOUT

ABOUT

Visiting New York City for vacation or business?

Why spend  your fun-money on a pricy hotel or AirBnB when you can have your cake and eat it too at your own Brooklyn pied-à-terre?

Several direct subway lines to all Manhattan points just two blocks away.

***

Come home at the end of the day to your own comfortable 60m2 landing pad with everything you need for a comfortable stay,

in a classic pre-war Brooklyn building, across the street from the Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

***

If you are a friend or a friend of a friend, I'll happily share my Brooklyn paradise with you. Tell me a little about yourself, what brings you to the city, who you will be travelling with plus your dates, and who recommended My Brooklyn Pied-à-Terre to you.

***

Make sure to tell me who recommended this to you and your connection, because this special gem is only for family and friends. And you. :-)

SEE & DO

THINGS TO DO IN BROOKLYN

Botanical Garden

Enjoy the beautiful grounds with my complimentary membership that gets free admission for two. Just step directly across the street!
Brooklyn Museum

Don't miss the cutting edge art and exhibitions, only one block up the street! Did you know that the price to enter is "suggested donation" and you can pay as you wish/can?

Walk the Brooklyn Bridge

To Manhattan or the other way; it's exhilarating either way! Rent a CitiBike and whizz on over!
Williamsburg Neighborhood

Hipsters and Ultra Orthodox Jews—head over for a unique cultural experience and some good food!
Brooklyn Brewery

Not just great beer, but good eats and music, too! Tours offered daily.
Downtown Brooklyn

Head to Fulton Street and get a sense of how this part of the borough is abuzz during the day. The head over toward Booklyn Heights and duck into the newly opened DeKalb Market Hall, where you can have that epic pastrami sandwich on rye from Katz Deli, among dozens other delicacies...

Other Places to Note in the Surroundings

Many more wonderful places to explore right in the neighborhood, such as the Brooklyn Public Library, and the Brooklyn Children's Museum, just to name a few...A plethora of cafés, restaurants, shops all around. Go one block to Café Koala and tell Maggie I sent you!

Getting Around

Of course there's the convenient Subway and the good old Yellow Cab. But we also have ride shares like Uber, Lyft and Via (my favorite! A fraction of the price just because it may pick up or drop someone off along the way). A great alternative is the CitiBike! Download the easy app and enjoy the convenience of a CitiBike Station  a few steps from the front door!

About Food

Tired of a long day of sightseeing and just want to hang out at home? If you don't feel like cooking, use the GRUBHUB or SEAMLESS app for easy delivery from every imaginable type of restaurant in the area.

Yum Yum.
